We defeated Shiner St. Paul 78-66 on Dec 22nd.  What a high scoring affair, we bounced back after a disappointing loss to Van Vleck.  I was pleased with our ability to play and make plays from behind.  We didn't do a great job of adjustments, blame it on coaching. I think I sometimes expect the girls to make adjustments on the fly and I forget that it takes time for players to make those decisions.  We did however make them when we needed them the most.    We made 10 3ptrs.

 

Ali Trojacek again came up big for us with 6 3pt shots and 25 points.  I was pleased with all our kids and we even had a new kid on Varsity for the first time and she got into the "action" Caitlyn Galipp.   78 points is the most points we have scored (I know we could have scored that and some earlier) against some weaker opponents but we needed all 78.  It was fun to coach this kind of game.  Give Coach Beal and her kids credit they competed and had a chance to win the game.  They are a very good team.
